Insegne Antiche enhances the identity of the territory through the particular signs, giving that added value capable of outlining the particularity of a locality. They are handcrafted works made with adequate attention to detail as if to underline a specific peculiarity. At Insegne Antiche, located in Via Monte Nero 21 in Colleverde, near Rome, they build artifacts modeled in wrought metal, lacquered, hand-decorated and enamelled in light relief.

Laboratorio d'arte Piombanti

A real little gem, the one located in via San Gaetano in Livorno. Yes, because it is here that Cristina Piombanti, now about thirty years ago, opened its own Art Laboratory, where small masterpieces in ceramic, wood and fabric are made in the name of Made in Italy.

Casa del Rame

The smell of craftsmanship has been in the air for generations at the Casa del Rame. Up there, on the railing of the last balcony, the mark left by grandparents Peter and Mary, who with inspiration thought of hanging copper utensils. The teachings handed down continue to be seeds that bear fruit because Casa del Rame is first and foremost family. Between prints, ancient bouquets and sketches, the artists have always been fascinated by this universe of alchemical knowledge and ancient esoteric currents. Cristina Dorsini welcomes us and tells us a little of the history of this evocative and engaging universe.

Many traditions tied to the territory and the carnival of Sardinia are carved in wood and marked in leather, like the Sardinian masks that carry meanings imprinted over time, up to our days. Each mask, whether in theater or any celebration, brings with it ancient stories and cults. In Sardinia, the most striking example is undoubtedly the carnival of Ottana, where the most important figures—su Boe (the ox), il Merdule (the shepherd), and sa Filonzana (the weaver)—wear characteristic masks

Bottega Prata

Materia is a coloured window in the centre of Rezzato, in the province of Brescia. Inside, under two beautiful seventeenth-century vaults, there is a forest of plants, colorful flowers, vases with the strangest shapes, garlands, vintage furniture.

Entering Lidia's workshop, in Lastra a Signa, is a bit like entering a magical world where eyes appear from every corner that tell something. They are the ears of an elephant, the flowered dress of a doll, the wings of a stork, the nose of a sheep.
