Jamie Marie Lazzara

In Florence, in Via del Leone, behind Palazzo Vecchio, lives the tiny workshop of Jamie Marie Lazzara. The American luthier, of Italian origin, studied in Italy from a very young age, first as a restorer in Florence, learning the techniques of working with materials, and then at the well-known violin making school in Cremona.

Michel Eggimann

Michel Eggimann, a Swiss naturalized Italian master luthier, works in a tiny workshop near Campo dei Fiori, in the historic Parione district of Rome. But don't let the size deceive you: violins and violas were born here and have traveled around the world, and certainly not on secondary stages. Eggimann has worked for internationally renowned musicians such as Uto Ughi and Augustin Hadelich, among others.

Mathias Mananteau

The work of the luthier, which according to Mathias resembles a bit of sculpture and a bit of architecture, lives on precise gestures and careful care, especially for those who, like him, have chosen to devote a large part of their activity to the restoration and fine-tuning of precious instruments, intended more for concerts than for simple exhibitions.
